DoorBee – Terms and Conditions
Your satisfaction is our priority. We treat your laundry as if it were our own. However, we need rules to ensure Doorbee’s (referred to as “we,” “us,” “our,” or “Doorbee”) or your obligations. You acknowledge and accept the following Terms and Conditions by using our service,
Doorbee is a service provided by Door Bee Solution PLT.
Terms and Conditions – Wash-and-Fold Laundry
Suitability for Laundering
You agree that your clothes are suitable to be washed in water on a normal cycle, and dried using heat in a tumble dryer. We are not responsible for any damage to your clothes.
Damaged Laundry
We are not responsible if something in your laundry (eg. lipstick, chewing gum, a pen) causes damage to your clothes.
We are not responsible for any wear and tear of laundry, including loss of buttons, fading, fatigue, holes, or abrasions. All laundering processes, regardless of how gentle, cause normal wear and tear on clothing.
We reserve the right to decline any particular piece of laundry if we think it will lead to damage.
We wash all items together as per our standard procedure. Please let us know if you want to wash your white colour clothes separately. We are not responsible for bleeding, shrinking or stretching .
Any damaged items must be reported to support@doorbee.com.my or via whatsapp with digital photos. Reimbursement for damaged wash and fold items shall not exceed five (5) times the price of the weight of the wash and fold load.
Lost Laundry
We are not responsible for any lost laundry and any personal items left in the clothing because we have no efficient way to verify that we received any particular piece of laundry.
Please notify us within 24 hours of receiving your clean clothes to support@doorbee.com.my or (60)13-2267768 if you believe you are missing something from your delivery. We are much more likely to find misplaced laundry if it is reported early.
Reimbursement for lost wash and fold items shall not exceed five (5) times the price of the weight of the wash and fold load.
Terms and Conditions – Dry Cleaning
We shall be limited to two (2) times the charge for treating the garment in the event of loss or damage of dry-cleaned items. Should you find an issue with one of your pieces, please notify us within 24 hours of your collection to support@doorbee.com.my or (60) 13-2267768.
As with our standard laundry process, Doorbee cannot be responsible for wear and tear resulting from cleaning, for very delicate items such as buttons or sequins, or clothing missing proper care labels.
General Terms for All Services
Scheduling and Payment
We are unable to offer you a refund if we have to start to wash your clothes.
We round to the nearest decimals in kg when weighing your laundry to determine if you have exceeded your allotted weight limit. We will promptly notify you of any surcharge if you have exceeded your weight limit. We reserve the right to hold your laundry hostage until we are paid in full.
Allergies
We use commercial laundry detergents for all our laundry customers; under normal circumstances, we do not expect any irritation. Please inform us if you have special requirements and we will do our best to accommodate. If you provide us with your detergent and softener, we will use them and charges will not be discounted.
Delivery
We hope to provide a convenient service to all our customers and can leave orders outside residences with the hotel’s concierge or reception, provided the customer gives written consent. However, once delivery has been made, we will not be held responsible or liable for the loss or damage of any items. It is the customer’s sole responsibility to ensure the safety of items after delivery by Doorbee.
Inventory
At any time, Doorbee may, at its discretion, keep records of your garments and retain, store, display, or reproduce such records, which may include images or photographs, and associate such records with your name or other profile information for commercially reasonable periods for archival, inventory purposes, quality control, loss prevention, and or data collection.
Miscellaneous
As our business changes, we may want to modify some of the terms in this agreement. Therefore, we encourage you to check back frequently to familiarise yourself with any changes.
Although generally agreeable, we recognise that you and Doorbee may have a dispute. In this event, you agree that any legal action about this agreement, or Doorbee generally, shall be conducted by the laws of Malaysia.
Notice
Doorbee may deliver notice to you under this Agreement using electronic mail or a general notice on the Site. You may notify Doorbee at any time via electronic mail to the Site at support@doorbee.com.my.
